What Pet ESA Service does
Pet ESA Service arranges online evaluations with independent licensed mental health professionals for emotional support animal and psychiatric service dog documentation. The clinician, not Pet ESA Service, decides whether documentation is clinically appropriate. Pet ESA Service is not a law firm, does not give legal advice and is not an emergency or crisis service.
Eligibility
You must be 18 or older, provide accurate information, and be located in the state you select during the evaluation. Giving false information to obtain documentation can be a crime in several states and will end the evaluation without a refund.
Evaluations and outcomes
Your payment buys an individual evaluation, not a letter. The clinician may approve documentation, ask for more information or a consultation, or decide documentation is not appropriate. Some states require a relationship period, in person contact or other steps before documentation; the clinician follows those rules, which can affect timing.
Payments and refunds
Prices are shown on the pricing page and charged once through Stripe, with no subscription. If the clinician does not approve your completed assessment, we refund 100% of the evaluation payment as described in the refund policy.
Using your letter
A letter supports a request for a reasonable accommodation. It does not guarantee any housing provider, college, airline or business decision, and it does not make an animal a service animal. Housing law changes; see our 2026 HUD guide and your state page.

Limits of liability
